Captor Sakura has been made into TV animation since April
1998. Some episodes follow the manga plots, some are
originally created for the TV series only. New original
characters and Clow Cards also appear in the animation. First movie was scheduled for Aug 21 1999 in Japan.
Second movie was released on July 15, 2000. There are 46 episodes from the 'Clow Card Series.' Dec 29, 1998 was the airdate of the 35th episode, which marked the end of the first season. The second season began on April 6, 1999, which concluded the 'Clow Card Series' at episode 46 on June 22, 1999. The 'Sakura Card Series' (episode 47) began on September 7, and ended at episode 70.
